They say that families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. It has been too long since we gathered in one place to share stories, break bread, and celebrate the incredible bond that connects us all.
We created this reunion to celebrate the legacies of Clopton Moore and Mary Francis Clay, as well as John Reese and Jurldean Pruitt.
This reunion is more than just a weekend celebration; it is a homecoming. A chance to introduce the newest generation to their cousins, to honor the elders who paved our way, and to make memories that will be retold for decades.
Let’s come together to laugh, hug, and remember why family is the greatest blessing of all.

Fish Friday
The get acquainted fish fry will be our official reunion weekend kickoff.
This is a laid-back evening dedicated to learning names, shaking hands, and hugging necks before the big events begin. Whether you are meeting a new cousin for the first time or catching up with a favorite auntie, this is the time to relax, eat good food, and let the "getting acquainted" begin. Grab a plate, pull up a chair, and make yourself at home.

Day 2 is a full-blown family festival. In addition to the traditional family cookout style we plan bring in local vendors to enhance this experience.
Once you’ve fueled up, it’s time to settle the score. Join us for reunion games! From kickball to spades, come ready for an action-packed day. We’ll wrap up an unforgettable day by lighting up the sky with Fireworks.
SUN. JULY 5TH
Sunday's Best & Final Toast!
After a weekend filled with unforgettable moments, good eats, games, and dazzling fireworks, we invite you to dress in your Sunday’s Best for our formal farewell brunch.
We are planning a sophisticated spread of savory carvings, decadent pastries, fresh fruit, and, of course, coffee, sweet tea and mimosas. We’ll raise a glass for a final Family Toast to honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to our future.

REGISTRATION
Registration for Roots & Branches 2026 is officially open and will close on May 1, 2026.
A minimum $25 non‑refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. While deposits are welcome, we encourage participants to pay in full, when possible, as it greatly supports early planning and smooth event execution.
To make the reunion accessible for everyone, we’re offering three registration options.

About the Design:
Our reunion T‑shirt was created to honor both our Mississippi heritage and the deep roots and branches of our family story. You may notice slight variations in the shirts depending on which family line you represent—each one intentionally designed to celebrate our shared history while recognizing our unique branches.
